“ Colonial (Inn) Tavern has seen a lot of changes since 2020, including the fact they have no waitresses so customers go to the bartender. So what they DO have is the fastest bartender, (Cupcake) who's 16 years speaks for itself. Cupcake always smiles and is calm and was always a pleasure to work with for years. You can't call enforcing Colonial policy being rude or unattentive. We've seen all types of customers so please consider the numerous responsibilities a bartender has to keep customers safe... That our liquor license include rules. That's not being rude, that's keeping ALL customers safe. ”

“ I am the traveler. I don’t know where to start. So I drove past the colonial inn several time while working Indianapolis. And decided to check out there reviews. I know not everyone is going to be happy, but with many good reviews and a response from the new owner Dane with true sovereignty and concern for those who weren’t satisfied. So I stopped by on a Wednesday and absolutely enjoyed everything about this place. I seen some amazing burgers and awesome wings come out of the kitchen, by the way short handed the owner Dane was cooking. I was in the mood for a simple burger and got the Fresco Inn. Just 1/2# patty American and Swiss cheese 1000 island dressing on Texas toast amazing fries hot and crispy. Dane has been remodelling and the place looks great. The staff and customers are awesome and friendly to new comers. DJ Gina or Monday and Wednesday is great. Covered outside patio for smoking eating, & drinking. Specials every day. Highly recommend stopping by and giving them the opportunity to serve you. ”
“ I just want to say my piece and let the truth out. I was there the night these other reviews are talking about. Don't believe anything these girls are saying. I saw everything that happened. They went to move our drinks from where we were sitting at the bar and Cupcake told them that someone was sitting there and asked them to move. Then they started catching an attitude and poppin' off at cupcake so she cut them off. So basically they didn't get what they wanted and now they crying to Google over it. I've been going here for 2 years and cupcake has never been and issue. She's the best bartender I've ever had. Cupcake wasn't BY ANY MEANS being rude nor has she EVER!! Grow up ya'll. This is ridiculous! ”
